Try And Pay These Bloggers A Visit
The most common question I get asked by fellow bloggers is ``How do we get noticed?'' I always direct them to the Blogger Help site, where a team of Blog*Stars and many other dedicated bloggers provide some great information for start-up bloggers.
Some weeks ago, I wrote a couple of posts, Reader Radar and House of Lauds which have general, easy-to-follow information for bloggers of any description.
And since this blog is committed to helping other bloggers, I would like to point out some of the more memorable blogs I've seen this week. They are, in no particular order, Pasture Musings, Sketch and Colour, A Chess World, Random Blethers, Memoirs of a Broken Man, Scala, Necronomipod, David's Pics, Who Dat Dare Pokah, One From The Cuckoo's Nest and Karoline's Wednesday's Child. Do give them - and other new bloggers - the encouragement they deserve.

What with you and a certain Bear, I am starting to feel suitably nagged into taking up my pencils again..... LOL
Despite all the good comments I've had on the blog so far, I've been on a downer lately and convinced my drawings aren't good enough to bother with...
I'll see if I can do something about it this week....

If I thought your artwork wasn't up to scratch, I'd have told you how to improve.
I also sketch and do watercolours, so I could have given you some technical help.
Instead, I took one look at your work and I've thought: ``Great talent.''
Your art rocks. And that is sincere commentary. If it wasn;t ``good enough to bother with,'' I'd tell you.
How about you give me a slection of your stuff to look at and I'll pick one to post one my blog?

This is perhaps the best way to direct people to other blogs that you feel are amusing. You did not only give a site to visit but a reason too. You gave them not only a destination but you gave them a reason to take the journey.

I don't see myself as all that spectacular, but merely enjoy sharing with others my life's experiences, both joyful, amusing and tragic.
For one of my readers I merely exist to make her belly laugh- usually at my expense Ha-ha!
