This shot of Barrenjoey Headland was taken in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park in Sydney's north. The lighthouse that sits atop it is actually built from sandstone quarried on the headland itself. Designed by James Barnet, it has been in operation since 1881. Interestingly enough, the walking trail to the top of the island was built by convicts.
