For Heaven’s Shake
A top chess player was knocked out of a grandmasters tournament in India - when he was judged too drunk to play. Other players kept shaking him to wake him up but officials decided the player wasn't in any condition to carry on, so his opponent was awarded the match.

I can't play chess well at all when I'm intoxicated. I'm amazed anyone could.
Drunk in charge of a chess board-whatever next?
Hmm...Chess or checkers...not my game, not at all...but Scrabble...and I'd have to be stone cold sober, I'm dead serious at that game!
