Kanye West has ordered the most expensive takeaway meal ever - from an Indian restaurant called British Raj in Wales, which is delivering the curry-in-a-hurry to New York. For a feast of onion bhajees, chapatti breads, biryanis, pappadums, a specially prepared fish dish and vegetables on the side, the bill will top $3900. But that’s not all, according to CNN. Additional fees will include travel and accommodation for the restaurant's head chef.
The meal was requested for West and seven guests by a music promotion company, the restaurant said. The company had previously ordered food from the restaurant near Cardiff, Wales, for an after-show party for a Snoop Dogg concert in London. But this is different. Normally, management won't deliver outside a 3-mile radius of the restaurant, which is about 150 miles west of London.
This time, the meal is being taken by helicopter from Wales to Heathrow Airport, London. It will then be transferred to a New York-bound flight, accompanied by the chef, who will monitor it all through the journey.
