You might not recognise this site the next time you visit. Relax, it's still the same blog. It'll still explore the same mix of subjects. But the layout and typeface are being updated. Thanks for dropping by and showing me such support, especially in the past six months. When I started, I never thought I'd have 13,000 visitors. I hope you like the upgrade.

I do prefer the new look David
but was confused when I visited today

Hi Dave,
Agree with previous blogger, great new look, but the old was good too!
My take on this is that you don't want to change things too often or too soon, because of the 'confusion' factor, and with the amount of change in life today, a few constants are stabilizing!
And there's the adage, 'if it aint broke...'
My tuppence.
Carol
Hi Steve,
Yep, I thought people might be a bit confused. I hope the explanation served its purpose.
It was just time for a change - but not a decision I took lightly.
There'sstill a few hiccups with alignment of text boxes at the moment, but my technology oracle, Terry Fletcher (webmaster of the Anglo-Indian Portal) is helping me sort it out.
Thanks for dropping by
David
Hi Carol,
I actually adhere to the saying ``If it ain't broke'' - but it really was time for a change.
Have sent you an email as well, Glad you like the new look, but thank goodness for Terry's assistance.
Your thoughts (worth considerable more than tuppence) always welcome. Say hello to Neil for me.
David
I like the new look much better!
I like this look. I liked the previous one too but this has got more "Spunk" to it. I too was a bit confused when the page opened, I thought I had reached someone else's page but was plesantly surprised later. Good work and the articles as usual are great... cheers.

Hi Finn,
Thanks for your feedback. I think it was time to move onto something more contemporary.
Let me know how you're progressing. Looks like you're going by leaps and bounds. Good luck and stay in touch.
David
Dear Siddharth,
Glad you liked the new ``look''. I think the time was right to move ahead.
Take care and good luck with the big plans.
David
I FEAR CHANGE!
Hi Bart,
Change is okay when it's change for the better, don't you think?
Rock on ...
David
Gee, for a moment I thought you'd blown up the blog.
It looks very good David.
Hi Catmoves,
