We've had some interesting comments about the challenge of photographing everyday objects - and producing an image that is ``different''. These two jars were sitting side by side in the kitchen at work last Wednesday, when I noticed that the sugar jar was chipped. So of course I walked back to where my camera was - and did the old ``shoot what you see'' routine. This picture was taken with the flash disabled, because I wanted to show the chip clearly, as well the contrast between the sugar and the coffee.
