Aussiejourno's Weekly Blog Awards are meant to encourage bloggers from all round the world and they give new bloggers the chance to get their work noticed in an increasingly popular forum, alongside the world's most-visited blogs.There is no monetary reward, no live TV coverage, no red carpet interview, but the exposure comes with international bragging rights. In conclusion, I would just like to say I've been mentoring several bloggers for a while and it is important to know that the work of a blogger whose url has only 10 hits can be ranked alongisde a blogger whose url has 10,000 hits or more. I would like other would-be writers and bloggers to benefit from the fact that I am a bestselling novelist (`Vegemite Vindaloo', published by Penguin) and career journalist with almost 30 years' experience in writing, editing, design, newspaper technology and production.

I'm also very grateful for your kind comments, and have tried to upload more pic's - 'though I can't quite fathom out how to add any, without it just replacing my original one...but I'm working on it. You're most welcome. I think you've made a great start and you have a gift for writing in a way that ``connects''.
The link was incorrectly constructed - my mistake. But thanks for pointing it out, and I've fixed it.
Re: adding more pix. Every time you write a new post, you can add a picture to it simply by clicking on the icon that sits in the row of tabs with your typeface, type size, bold italic or normal font, etc.
That will take you to a window that lets you select any image on your PC.
If you have any trouble with this, let me know.
