Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

If you simply must sing karaoke
Please ensure you keep it low-key
Refrain from warbling lows and highs
Even if you think you're Ol' Blue Eyes

There once was a fellow from Melbourne,
Who penned his rhyme with a shoe horn,
He filled it with pun,
And kept it all fun,
To keep people reading each morn.

This little ditty is really good!
I'd write another one, if I could!
But my Grandchildren call .....
So that has to be all!

Quick witted David Mcmahon,
Sings like an owl in a barn,
His photos are just a click away,
And get greater Day by Day.

Karaoke made all think they could sing
Giving their egos and voices wing
But tin ears and bellies full of liquor
Only make people fall quicker.

I'm with Quilly - that was a grand lead-in to a Limerick. Please do add a fifth "A" line! Perhaps something like:
"Or folks will think you're quite hokey."

What good fun - thank you!
