Blight At The End Of The Tunnel
Bungling engineers have been left red-faced after building a railway tunnel that's too small for trains to actually fit through. The costly mistake was only discovered when inspectors measured the finished tunnel in the Polish capital, Warsaw, and realised the roof was so low that no trains would get under it.

Oh god, I just flashed back to elementary (primary) school and all the jokes that centered around the Polish being stupid.
What Bart said -- AND, I predict an upsurge in new Polish jokes. Even though they claimed to be schooled in building tunnels, those engineers certainly weren't very well trained.
My mind just flashed back to some of my favorite Road Runner cartoons where the coyote would take a brush and bucket and paint a tunnel on the side of a mountain. At least the trains fit through those.
That's okay; if you just get that train to go fast enough...
That's the same kind of ineptness as THIS.
Now that is amusing!
I wonder though who will take the blame at the end?
The engineers and their supervisors or the lowly labourers who constructed the tunnel
Bear((( )))
I re-read this a couple of times just to be sure this was a Polish tunnel. Groan! And they wonder why there are so many jokes? :-)

I feel a joke coming on here...but I'll cough it back...you are a devil David!
