The Best Little Hoard House In Cincinnati
An Ohio man with a hatred of paper money slapped down $8,000 in coins at a car dealership to buy a Chevrolet pick-up - then paid the rest by cheque. James Jones, 70, produced 16 coffee cans full of coins to buy his new Chevrolet Silverado in Cincinnati and staff spent 90 minutes counting it. But his coin hoard only covered half of the $16,000 price tag.

OMG are you an early riser or what!? LOL
Okay, so this dude lives around Cincinnati and hates paper money. I live about 200 miles northeast of him and I could learn to love paper money, if I had any.
Here's what I propose. He can take all the dreaded paper money he has and start driving north up interstate 71. I will gladly meet him in columbus to take this off his hands.
Or he can sit tight in the Queen City and I will come all the way down there. I don't him to harbor any ill feelings towards these dead presidents.
OMG! I wonder how long it took him to collect $8,000 in coins?! Too funny!
This man is my new hero.
Only in Ohio....but you know what? I bet dollars to donuts he was from across the border in Kentucky! ;)
THAT is funny. Love your footnote.
I am curious about this man. I also wonder if he rolled all of the coins in those little paper wrappers or was it all loose change? I also wonder how in the world you come up with such clever footnotes consistently? I certainly enjoy reading them!
I wonder if they played along or if they were counting through grit teeth?
think it's time to bust open my daughter's piggy bank, there may be a Pinto waiting for me at a used car dealership.
well, he may be 70, but he sure is fit.. doubt I could lug all that weight around by myself!
