Who can resist Xmas in July? ;-)
Amazing, the treasures you dig up, day after day! (I was going to write "when you go blogstalking, - reference to the oldfashioned deerstalking -, but then doubts came creeping up, what with "stalking" nowadays having overly negative connotations).
Oh thank you David, you are too kind-- here I was worried about putting someone off with my rant. Thanks for the G&T suggestion, you meant I should swim in it, right? :-)
Hi David...
Not nominating myself, but didn't know how else to tell you...but after you have offered me so many prayers and so much encouragement, I just wanted to share this with you:

Okay, that mess at the top is the link that I'd like you to read David...and I nominate as post of the day...it puts a whole new twist on laughing your ass off...your picks today were just right! I've never been to a Japanese funeral til today...it was quite enlightening...and of course most of the rest I'd already visited...you're giving me quite a list of favorite blogs these days!
