Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

How many bees are there in a hive?
One million, three hundred and five.
Is it curious or just plain funny
That I simply lost count, honey?

You need to publish your little 'witty ditties' in a bedside book David, they always make me smile as I head off to the land of nod :-)

How clever! It made me smile, too.

I'll be scrolling through your archives for a while, I think.

And what do those bees do in the hive?

They like to jive.
It makes them feel alive.

When you count the bees
You start to sing
You lose the song
When they start to sting

Love it David. It reminded me of our recent holiday, there are hundreds of hives all over Kefalonia painted either blue or white because apparently those are the only colours bees can recognise!

How many bees are there in a hive?
If I tried to count I would never survive.
One be sting makes me quit ill.
More than one would likely kill.
