Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

My Uncle Wilbert said he felt horrible
So I drove him down to Corhanwarrabul
Down by the creek, in Nature’s embrace
He said he could feel the return of grace

Not sure the meaning of your ditty but water always seems to bring me peace.

Just wanted to let you know I left comments on odd shots, bridges between and abc Wednesday today. I have had some allergy problems and am late in visiting each but finally did it!

Ausralia must have a place that rhymes with any English word! Your verse is always entertaining.

Hmm, he was probably just looking for a dictionary to make sure you spelled the name of the place you intended to drop him off at correctly...

Uncle Wilbert felt so grim
I sincerely hope he didn't jump in!

If you want to put a smile
on his face
and add sparkles to his eyes,
let him keep company
with the dragonflies.
Take him where
the tadpoles glitter,
the crawdads skitter,
and the butterflies flitter.
Let Uncle Wilbert
have his Sunday by the creek,
then he'll be good to go
for another week.
