Cross Purposes

If It Please Your Worship

A Chicago estate agent has converted his home into a church, placing a cross on it and saving himself $80,000 in taxes. The man said he converted his $3 million home into the Armenian Church of Lake Bluff so his disabled wife and daughter did not have to travel to worship. He said he started his own congregation a year ago after receiving a pastor's degree from a religious internet site.

Hmm.... part of me admires his lateral thinking, but the other part - well, not sure what to say really.

Is he related to any of our Members of Parliament, do you think? Some very similar traits there I think when it comes to living expenses.

Hum, I'd do this but then I'd have to let folks in my house.

Thus the basic, bottom-line problem with blogging---not enough time left in the day to think about how to get one over on the government and screw over your neighbors.
We should all go one Sunday and demand our after service coffee and doughnuts:>)
