Live And Let Dye

All Volunteers To The Poop Deck

Volunteers in the UK are painting dog poo bright pink in a bid to shame pet owners into cleaning it up. The scheme at a beauty spot in Mansfield is being staged to coincide with National Poop Scoop Week, reports K9 magazine. Officials are providing bright pink dye which biodegrades.

FOOTNOTE: Dunce crap.

I... Well, you know, it's... Um, the thing is... Nope. I don't even know where to begin. Bright pink poop, you say? Nope. Still nothing. I'm just... speechless. Reduced to babbling nonsense. Great visuals, though.

Excuse me...but who in their right mind is going to volunteer to do the painting? I'd like to know because I would never want to shake hands with them.

Then there's the poor dogs. They come back to admire their art work, then go en masse to the vet, wondering what's wrong.

Aloha David,
It drives me nuts when owners wont clean up after their dogs on public paths and right of ways... Good idea, but I'd spray paint the owners in pink!!!
peace, Kai

I guess even poop can be in the pink.

Over here, I have seen some people ring round a poop in brightly coloured chalk!
We have foxes running up & down our road at night. Could be them making the mess in Mansfield.
Pink poop! No way!

Only in the UK.

Isn't that peculiar. I suppose they could even turn it into an annual festival. Wonder what color the carriage horses' and pigeons have earned? Still a very odd way of dealing with the 'poop du jour' if you ask me.
