The Sunday Roast

Looking For Sandy? Find Her On Faithbook

This week's interview is with Sandy Carlson,
who writes the blog Writing In Faith.

The first of the standard questions. Why do you blog?

Writing In Faith started as a filing cabinet for my writing. Too many hard drives had crashed, and too many of the only copies of works that were in progress went down with the ship. This was my way around that problem. Initially, my blog was a back-up system, a private project.

What's the story behind your blog name?

Writing In Faith is the name of my blog. I call it because I write in the faith that the world is beautiful. To see this is to name the sacred.

What is the best thing about being a blogger?

The best thing about being a blogger is learning through the words of other bloggers who are open, friendly, and kind.

What key advice would you give to a newbie blogger?

Participate in the weekly memes that take you to other bloggers so you can experience the range of perceptions and presentations.

What is the most significant blog post you've ever read?

This one - Unconditional Friendship Award at Work Of The Poet.

What is the most significant blog post you've ever written?

That would have to be Juvenile Justice The Girls' Way.

Today's Sunday Roast with Sandy Carlson is the 23rd in a weekly series of interviews with bloggers from around the world.

I went over and had a look at Sandy's blog. She sounds like a woman with a lot of heart and wisdom - and creative too. Thanks for the introduction David.

I've been visiting Sandy for a while now and it is great to see her on Sunday Roast. It strikes me as a typically shy, or reserved Sandy because she does not shout how great she is - yet she is at photography and writing. She melds the two beautifully. I find visiting her blog really relaxing. She is great at encouraging and has encouraged me a lot along with a load of other great bloggers.

Great interview.

Yet, another of my favorite bloggers. It seems we travel in similar circles and admire the same people, David.
