Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

When Jack and Jill
Went up the mountain
They derived a thrill
From the marble fountain

But Jill alone, on top of that stack,

Was a lonely lass, indeed.

But then she found the neighbors' bull,

And for poor Jack, she no longer had need...!

Check---MATE!!!

Who knows what the two got up to
On the day they climbed that hill.
But Jack was thrown down and now
Jill is facing "The Old Bill!"

Jill went up the hill for water.
Jack followed, hoping for something her shouldn't outta!
Jill dipped her bucket in the well.
Where Jack dipped his hand I dare not tell.
Jill punched Jack on the end of his nose.
Then head over heels down the hill he goes.

When Jack and Jill went up that hill

What people thought was wrong

Cause Jack had brought his old guitar

And helped Jill write a song
