Now I like that rhyme! I've heard of the thunder and whatnot in Australia and am glad to hear some of that mentioned in your poem. Being a storm lover and also loving strength in a country, I think the idea of lightning and thunder down under is rather exciting. Not to mention a heck of a good rhyme. Gotta go visit someday!
Since I can't sleep I thought I might as well do a big of blogging. At the moment, I believe you're somewhere over the Pacific Ocean jetting home to your loved ones. I'm sure all the hoovering will be done in preparation for your welcome home and you'll soon be regaling the family with all your escapades and near-misses with grizzly bears. Looking forward to more of your tales of adventures in the wilds! :D
I tried to post this comment on your ABC post but it was returned to me.
"Oh my! We're off to Canada in two weeks and really hope to see a bear - but not that close! Daughter is an even bigger worrier than I am so I will make sure she doesn't read this.
By the way, I only discovered today that you had made my story recently one of your PODs. Thank you so much! I put a new story up today and looked at the comments on the previous ones and found out that way. "

Cheers!
Are you saying your Hoovers are best?
Or are you only talking in jest?
Living in Britain
I may be smitten
With your cleaning story
In all its glory.

I'm moving Down Under
If hoovering by thunder!
In England the thunder
comes with rain and rain
And rain and rain and rain
andrainandrainandrainandrain
You get the picture. ;0)
We can open one door and the wind blow it out another ... no need for all lightening bolts and thunder.
Great thunder fron "Down Under"!
If you wore a derby
You could use a Kirby
I will be on the level
You may need a Dirt Devil
