Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

The curator drove down to see the painting
Just as the artist felt like fainting
When he switched the ignition off
I swear you could hear his van cough

ROFL David, I think you took punning to new low here. Not only did you manage to make one in your rhyming but you reversed Van Gogh and brought him to a full stop. And at the end of the verse! Don't tell me that didn't take any planning. (Shaking my head in amazement)

Definitely Smiling!

Mrs. Confused E. Knoff
Asked, "If Van Cough,
Will Van Goth?
Do you know?"

"Dear Mrs. Knoff,
If Van Cough,
Van no Gogh,
Lest you push, you know."
