Perfect Story For The Fall Season
A Polish man survived a nine-storey plunge from a tower block when he landed on a neighbour's old mattresses. Tom Sobieski, 39, fell almost 100 feet after slipping on his apartment balcony in Sopot, on the Baltic coast. But he suffered just a broken arm and rib after he landed on the dumped mattresses.

I am betting he was drunk ... and the mattress was thick ...

What a Pole to fall off...
Lucky!
I slipped on the ice and fell 5 feet three inches (my height) and I am still recuperating.
Imagine what the damage would be if I fell 100 feet (even if it was onto a mattress.)
Bear((( )))
Pole vaulting, was he?
What are neighbours for?
Hmmmm....so his neighbor saved his life. I think he owes him a new mattrewss....and a drink!
I agree with Daryl and Maddy. You'd have to be really relaxed to survive that kind of fall. He was drunk and lucky!
Cheers!
I'm betting he wasn't feeling much pain. ;)
He just fell into bed...
